Dean LoCurto

Age 65, died April 29, 2012, at his home in San Jose, CA with his loving wife by his side.

Born on July 8, 1946 to Joseph and Grace LoCurto, Dean started competitive ballroom dancing at age 5 and, with his sister Jilayne, performed to sold out crowds in and around San Jose. Attending Bellarmine College Preparatory School; he was the third member of his family inducted into the hall of fame for his role on Bellarmine’s famed 1964 undefeated football team. worked the majority of his life with friends at Central Concrete.

Dean was a warm and caring father and devoted husband who spent his days cooking, gardening, playing scrabble and story-telling with his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharyn , his children Shannon, Dawn, Joseph and Kristin, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He will be missed by his brother John, sister Jilayne and his nieces and nephews.

A vigil will be held at Lima Mortuary in Willow Glen on May 3, 2012 at 7 pm. The funeral will begin at Lima Mortuary on May 4, 2012 at 1 pm and proceed to Oakhill Cemetery.
