Together they shared nearly 68 years of love and devotion until his passing ten months ago. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Mariannina Mancini; her brothers, Anthony, Herman, Adam, Alfred, Michael, and Robert; and her sister, Louise, who now welcome her into eternal rest.
Delores is lovingly remembered by her children, Celeste (Frederic), Christine (Frank), Christopher (Justin), and Robert (Terry). Her legacy lives on through her five grandchildren, Julien, Lorenzo (Victoria), Roman (Kat), Lance (Ashley), and Michaela (Eli), as well as her great-grandchildren, Ezra, Eliza, Ranger, and Lakelynn. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Joanne, with whom she shared a lifelong bond, along with many treasured nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
An avid baker, Delores delighted family and friends with her delicious baked goods, especially during the holidays. She found great joy in bringing family and friends together around the table, where food, laughter, and conversation created lasting memories. She treasured every moment spent with her family, especially her much-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was happiest when surrounded by her relatives. Family gatherings were the heart of her world and reflected the warmth, love, and unity she cherished throughout her life.
Despite the health challenges she faced in her later years, including living with dementia, Delores met each day with remarkable courage, grace, and quiet strength. Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care and kindness shown by the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Central Coast and Carmel Hills Care Center.
