Derrick Akira Ando was born January 10, 1996 in Morgan Hill, CA. He entered Nirvana on October 28, 2021 at the age of 25 surrounded by his family. He was the loving son of Rick Ando, brother to Megan and Taylor Ando and grandson of Hisako and the late Albert Ando. He was also the dear nephew and cousin to many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Derrick graduated from De Anza and Foothill colleges and became a nationally certified EMT in 2020. His passions were helping other people, skateboarding, tattoos, cars and designer clothes. He will be dearly missed by many relatives and friends. Private services have been held.
