She worked at the Continental Can Cannery in the 1930's. She married and raised three girls.
She loved music and played multiple instruments. The many classes she attended at the senior center included the singing group, tap dance, hula, and line dancing. She still played ukelele with the weekly band at the Santa Clara Senior Center until early this year.
Dorothy is survived by her three children Darwyn Patz (Phil) of San Jose, California, Maureen Kann (Mike) of San Jose, California, and Lynette Eliason (David) of Sandy, Utah, by her seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be at 2 pm on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Chapel of Roses.
