Ed you will be missed, but always remembered. When thoughts of IBM in San Jose come to mind your smiling every helpful face will bring a smile. Rest in peace and may your family remember you with joy.

Ed always could bring out the best in folks, he added smiles & laughter to our days together at IBM. I enjoyed working with your father for many years, 20+, at IBM.  He knew how to enjoy life, and gave his hints & tips so we always would have fun in our lives! I'm sorry for your loss. Your memories will keep his love & laughter alive.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I worked with Ed for several years and have nothing but the fondest memories.  I can still hear his voice quite clearly; probably due to the fact we were normally on the same conference calls.  However we did share in a few enjoyable face-to-face meetings over the years too, either in San Jose or New York.  I am a better person for having known him.  With my deepest sympathy,

My sincere condolences to Tod & Trevor and family. Eddie or Bud were the two names I always called him by. I had worked with Eddie off and on my whole career at IBM it wasn't until they shut the plant down and those left behind were scattered all over San Jose. IBM put Eddie, Bill and I on a island after all the down sizing and dust cleared. That is when I really got to know Eddie, we were a great Systems I/T team. I remember the comment about Eddie trying to explain his job it brought a smile to my face because Eddie was IBM he knew all business processes we all relied on his knowledge he was our mentor to a lot of folks. We had a great run all three of us we were the last of the  Mohicans (Systems Dept) for the Materials Org when they showed Eddie and I the door in March 2010, the prior year IBM had let Bill go we knew the writing was on the wall. I was really touched by Bill's eulogy it is how I remember him he was truly a honest and sincere God loving man that will be missed...

I WAS VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. ED ALWAYS HAD THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND HELPED MANY STRESSFUL TIMES AT IBM,WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM WITH THAT SMILE IN MY HEART. WE WERE ALL SO HAPPY FOR HIM WHEN HE BROUGHT ANN INTO HIS LIFE.

Thinking of Ed today and the many happy times we had at IBM and at social functions. I'm sure Fast Eddie is welcoming Ed and they're enjoying each others company again. My thoughts and condolences to the family and please know that your Father won't be forgotten. He will be in thoughts often.

I knew Ed for about 40 years. He was my teacher when I went to PC at IBM. We kept in touch all these years. So sorry for the family loss.
