Beth was a gifted French Horn player, and for many years, she played with the prestigious Lucerne Symphony Orchestra in Switzerland. Her musical talents were matched only by her dedication and passion for helping other budding musicians learn and excel in music. As a french horn and piano teacher it was clear that she was invested in her student's musical education both as people and performers. Her recitals were demonstrations of her commitment to teaching musical artistry.
Beyond her music, Beth was an artist in every sense. With her subtle sense of humor and a sharp wit, she brought joy to those around her through her clever drawings, often leaving us laughing. Her artwork was a reflection of her kind, creative spirit, and her ability to see the world through a unique lens.
Beth was also a gourmet cook and foodee. She always knew the best restaurants and we were frequently the happy recipients of her amazing culinary skill. She frequently worked on perfecting recipes and the results were always delicious.
Beth’s love for weaving brought forth many beautiful and cherished creations, including intricate wall hangings and baskets. These handmade pieces are a testament to her patience, skill, and artistic vision, and we continue to enjoy them in our homes today.
Beth’s presence in our lives will be greatly missed. Her kindness, humor, and passion for the arts left a profound mark on all who knew her. She is survived by her four siblings Marcia, Charles, Adell and Billy. As well as her three nieces, Sandra Lewis, Kyra Beacock, and Wendy Beacock.
We take comfort in knowing that her spirit will live on through the music, artwork, and memories she leaves behind. Rest in peace, Beth. You will be forever in our hearts.
