Elizabeth Lisa (Thomas) Byrd

She was the daughter of Melecio and Consuelo Flores, and grew up with her five siblings: Yolanda, Hector, Fred, Angie, and David. She passed away on October 13, 2022 from sepsis.

She is survived by her husband, RC Byrd, daughter, Elizabeth Flores-Lathan, grandchildren, Rihana West and Maison Sbrana, sisters, Angie Carden and Yolanda Brown, and two dogs, Millie and Taco Bell.

Lizzy will be remembered for her lively and light-hearted nature, and for having the brightest smile in the room. She brought humor and strength to every situation she found herself in, and loved to uplift others. She especially showed love and tenderness to children and animals. But no matter the age, everyone was her “mija” or “mijo.” On the other side it is certain that she is working to guide the next generation, which she loved so much.
