Vera was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Apr 1, 1937 to parents Delfino & Consuelo Nuñez. She is survived by her children Connie Mora, Beatrice Burnett, Trisha Reeser (Ken), JR Talamantes (Wendy). She is also survived by her grandchildren Erica Rangel, Sam Rangel, Mikayla Benson, Markus Benson, Jessica Burnett, Zaden Reeser, Tristen Reeser, and great-grandchildren Donoven Moore, Alana Moore, Jozlyn Moore, Shaylene Moore, and Leila Benson.
Vera enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and interior decorating. She was very social and loved outings, parties, and dancing. She had a fun personality and her smile will be missed dearly. She will be remembered by her family by all of her loving nicknames - La Bonita, La Muñeca, La Preciosa, Elvrita, Mija, and Abuelita.
