Emanuel Marquis

Emanuel "Manny" Marquis, a loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 15th as the sun set outside his window. Manny was the third of the four children of Kieve and Evelyn(Markell) Marquis of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife Shelley and his children, Jackie (Randy) Levinson and Daniel Marquis and grandchildren Noah and Elijah Levinson. He is also survived by his brother Melvyn and sister Roslyn and was preceded in death by his brother Jack.

Manny was born and raised in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and attended college in North Dakota for his undergraduate degree in Economics. He eventually went on to work as a Procurement Specialist in the Aerospace industry.

In the late 1960's Manny met and married his wife Shelley. Together they created a great family with their 2 children, Jackie and Danny and grandchildren Noah and Elijah.

Manny was an avid fan of local Bay Area sports teams spending many enjoyable afternoons going to A's games with his son Danny. For many years he was a regular and avid spectator at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am where he occasionally got to rub elbows in the Clubhouse with Bill Murray and Sean Connery.
