Eric Takeshi Takemoto

Eric was born in San Jose, California, on April 20, 1992, to Joel and Sally Takemoto. He passed away suddenly on May 1, 2026, from a cardiac arrest at the Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz. He graduated from Leigh High School and from the University of the Pacific in Stockton. He was engaged to Angela Huynh and planned to marry in August of this year.

Eric loved to travel, the outdoors, photography, camping, hiking, fishing, golfing with his friends, and, most of all, spending time with Angela and his family. Eric is survived by his fiancée, Angela; grandmother, Kaye Masatani; mother, Sally; brother, Jeff; and his family, Katie and Jaime.

A private memorial service has been held.
