We mourn the passing of Ernesto “Estot.” A mathematics wizard from the Philippines, he was a strict yet inspiring teacher. He dedicated 24 years to the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his loving wife, four children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Ernesto "Estot" Lucas Legaspi passed on March 19, 2026, at the age of 92. Estot was born on August 30, 1933, in the Philippines and resided in San Jose, California.
An Evening Visitation & Rosary will be held at the Chapel of Oaks at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, US, on April 24, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Final Visitation will be held at the same address & chapel, on April 25, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be conducted afterwards, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Oak Hill Memorial Park with the same address.
Finally, please join the family for a Reception in Rooms 1 & 2 at Oak Hill Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
