Felicitas Hackleman

May 18, 1932 - June 18, 2024.

Felicitas Hackleman passed away peacefully at her home, in Sunnyvale, California, on the morning of Tuesday June 18, 2024 at the age of 92.

Second oldest out of ten children to Vicente and Maria Aguiniga of Monta Vista, California.

She joins her husband of 32 years, Donald Gene, who predeceased her in 1989.

Predeceased by eldest son David and survived by sons James and Philip; and nine grandchildren, Cristina, David “Bubba” Jr., Michael, Megan, Donnie, Keith, Jesse, Emily, and Matthew; and four great grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Isabella, and Oliver; and four great-great grandchildren, Landon, Ryleigh, Kenzie, and Hunter. Also survived by her beloved dog Chica and her turtle “It”.

She will be remembered for sharing her home to all with her caring and kind nature. For the warmth she brought to all the family gatherings including the best home cooked meals; homemade tortillas, nopales, chili verde, country potatoes and fried chicken just to name a few.

She has also left a lasting impression with her crocheting and quilts which brought comfort and joy to those around her.
