

Felicitas Alegar Quilindrino, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2021 due to complications following gallbladder surgery. She was born on September 2, 1933 in Gabu, Laoag Ilocos Norte Philippines. She married her first and forever love of her life, Zosimo Sampayan Quilindrino on February 9, 1952.
She worked in the Philippine government and received a commemorative award for her years of service and hard work. She was petitioned to come to America together with her husband and children by her older brother Santos Alegar. She arrived in the U.S. in 1978 at the age of 43, along with her husband and young children. They later became US citizens. Twenty years later, their two oldest daughters and their families followed.
Her first job here in the States, was bunching onions. She later landed a career at an electronic company where she retired at the age of 62.
Her loving husband passed in April 2016. They are now reunited in heaven. She was a loving & devoted mother of 8 children, Luz, Edna, Susan, Jane, Almer, Annie, Dan & Bong Jr. She adored her 16 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. All who knew Mama Citas loved her dearly. She will be remembered and will be missed every day by many.
