To Dave and Art and your family - my deepest sympathies in the loss of your father. Wow, what can I say. Thanks for posting your photo series, that was so nice.I know I came across him in Gilroy or Morgan Hill when I read meters - though I didn't know him at the the time. He looks very familiar. I've met him. From where your father and mother came from to this day 2012, the world is a better place because of their hard work whether anybody knew it or not. Your father gets 5 Stars from me for being a WWII Veteran and especially a Tanker in Europe. Dave and Art, I've worked with you both, and you 2 must be just like your Father - because you both are really cool guys....and I bet your family is deeply saddened. Your father had a long life and we're all the better for it. Take Care Amaro Family - hold your heads high! Felix was someone to look up too.

To David, Lydia, Art, and Lori. I remember "Uncle" Felix & Belia coming over to the house in Salinas on Espinoza Road, to visit my mom (Paulina). Lori and I used to play for a bit, and Felix and Mom would get so animated when they talked about good times "back in the day" of their youth. I smile when I think of the visits to their house too. It was amazing, and I never forgot the smile on his face. My heart and prayers to out to all of you. God bless you all.
