With profound sadness we announce the passing of Fermin M. De Luna, our loving and devoted father and friend to all whose lives he touched, on February 26, 2021. Fermin was born January 26, 1960, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, son to Apolinar De Luna and M. Elena Mendiola De Luna.
Fermin came to San Jose, California at the age of 18. A year later he met his wife Victoria Platero and they began their lifelong journey together. Fermin worked and thrived for different companies moving companies.
In 1998, Fermin decided to establish his own moving and transportation company, Facilities Logistics. Due to his welcoming personality and strong work ethic, Fermin was successful in creating a strong foundation for his company till this day.
Coming from nothing to creating the “American Dream” for himself, Fermin was proud to be from Zacatecas, Mexico. Fermin was a loving, giving, friendly and big-hearted gentleman. All who knew him considered him a close friend who they can rely on for any type of help. His favorite thing, by far, was to bring family together as often as possible. He was a great father to his children and loving husband to his wife of 40 years. He was nothing short of a remarkable man and we will miss him very much. Our hearts are so very heavy, but only because they are filled with the love he poured into them.
