Gerardo V Rios

Gerardo V. Rios, 68, of San José, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was born on September 20, 1950 in Coahuila, Mexico. He loved helping people and singing in the choir; a true servant of the Lord. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, two grandchildren, and seven siblings.

Visitation will be held 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday, June 10, 2019 at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Room E, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.

Rosary will be held at 5:30pm, followed by Celebration Service at 7:00pm Monday, June 10, 2019 at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Chapel of the Oaks, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph, 80 South Market St, San Jose, CA 95113. There is no parking lot at the Cathedral, but there are many public parking lots and metered street parking nearby. The closest public parking lots to the Cathedral are Third and Santa Clara (25 South Third Street), and Market and San Pedro Square (45 North Market Street). Private lots close to the Cathedral are San Fernando and South Second Street (30 East San Fernando) and Pavilion Garage (150 South Second Street).

Graveside Committal will follow at 11:30am at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, at the intersection of Meditation Drive and Memory Lane.
