Giancarlo Garcia Bello

After an extensive battle with leukemia, our beloved Giancarlo Bello has passed on, into the arms of our Almighty God. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his talent and his creativity. All of which shadowed only by his immense generosity and passion for the people he loved.

A talented musician with a degree in audio engineering, music was Carlo’s life. He was an avid Rock, Metal and Hip-Hop fan. He played in many bands and loved to perform.

Giancarlo was also an active member of the local cosplay community. Using his boundless creativity and resourcefulness, he created costumes of his favorite comic and video game characters to don at the many cosplay conventions that he would work and attend annually.

Through all of his passions, he would forge many bonds and friendships, and leave an indelible mark on everyone that was lucky enough to know him. He is survived by his parents, Guy and Dinah, and his brothers, Dino and Paolo.

A visitation for Giancarlo will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 starting at 9am. A prayer service will occur at 6pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:30am, committal to follow.
