Born in Santa Cruz, CA on December 19,1935, died in San Jose, CA June 6, 2019.She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Campo, a daughter, 2 sons & their spouses; Lenora & Jim Kitchens, Carl & Debbie Campo, John & Yvonne Campo, grandchildren; Michelle, Ryan & Jeff & great-grandson Halen, her brother George & sister Antoinette. Gloria is preceded in death by her father Eugene Mungai and her mother Nellie Stagi.

Gloria was a woman devoted to her-family. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife & mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She loved her family and could never pass up the opportunity to hold a baby or small child. Gloria had a smile, a hug and a kind word for everyone she met. She loved the outdoors, camping and boating on the Delta. Gloria loved to dance and actually met her husband at a dance. Although she did not get many chances recently, she could tap her toes to a good tune. Gloria will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in honor of her life on Sunday June 23, 2019 at the Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, in the Chapel of the Roses , 300 Curtner Ave.,San Jose, CA 95125.

Visitation/Viewing 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Funeral Service 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM,Committal Service 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

A reception will follow for those who wish to come and share memories of Gloria at Palermo Italian Restaurant, 791 Auzerais Ave., San Jose, CA.

Mom, I love you so much your the best mother inlaw to me you treated me like your Daughter I will always remember the times we shared when John and I came to Calif and when you and Dad came for a visit In Texas we had some great laughs. Thanks for all the long talks over the phone and advise. These memories will be in my heart forever. Love you Mom, See you on the other side someday.❤

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gloria's passing. We go back many years of heading up to the Delta and other fun trips. Those memories will always stay close to my heart.
