Memo and Irma were married in 1950 and for 73 years shared a wonderful life together.
They created a beautiful large family where they shared many special moments together.
Guillermo was the eldest son of 7 children and was born on March 17, 1929, to Catalina Macias and Irineo Escobedo in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Memo held down jobs early in his life while attending school to help support his family. It was this strong work ethic that he carried on throughout his life and bestowed these values onto his children alongside his hard-working wife.
Memo had a few passions in life. Some of which were his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, which was clearly seen through the strong devotion he had to his family. Another great passion of Guillermo was botany. Not only did he have a green thumb for making things grow and thrive, but he also had a genius about him in grafting different plant species together to create incredibly delicious fruits!
Guillermo was a simple man who did not want for much. He enjoyed spending time with his family and in his garden. Guillermo had a strong belief in God and great affection and belief in St. Jude. He was also a man of faith; a value he and his wife Irma instilled in their children.
