It has been two years since Mom’s passing. I miss mom very much. I wish she was still here with us.

Mom always had a smile and food for everyone and their pets who came to her house!

We enjoyed bringing Kenzie over to grandmas and watching them interact was always a joy. And seeing grandma smiles!! 

I had the honor and blessing of being Helen's caregiver for the last two years of her life. Helen became a very good friend and I will never forget her sweet smile and beautiful  voice. Such a loving,  humble soul. Helen always talked  about her late husband,  Willis, her family, her children and her grandchildren. They were her heartbeat and reason for living. I remember every day she would get a phone call from her dear friend, 
Marge. They spoke every day, faithfully at 2:45 and would tell each other "I love you". There was one day I remember that she was watching an old Turner Classic movie on TV, and she giggled and laughed so hard through the whole movie. She loved her chocolate  Hershey kisses treats and her Tumeric hot tea and Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal cookies.  I  told her the reason she is so sweet is because she always ate something sweet every day! Helen has not died, but simply passed from this world to eternity with Jesus. She will remain alive in the heart of every person who loved her. She was a mother full of love and concern to the very end. She loved and trusted Jesus with all her heart and when she would worry about her loved ones, she always remembered her Lord and his protective angels that were keeping her family safe. A precious person, dearly loved by many. I'm so thankful God allowed me to be in her life.
