Heriberto G. Mejia

Heriberto G. Mejia, aged 80, of San Jose, California passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Mountain View, California. Heriberto was born sixth of twelve children born to his parents Francisca and Lorenzo Mejia in Jalisco, Mexico.

Heriberto is survived by his wife, Yolanda (Gusman) Mejia; his son David Mejia (Lisa Mejia); his daughter Marisela Mejia; and daughter Lorena Reyes Mejia (Jesus Reyes); his grandsons Daniel Espinoza Mejia, Diego Espinoza Mejia and Giovanni Adrian Paiz Mejia, and his granddaughters Stephanie Espinoza Mejia, Sophie Espinoza Mejia, Alina Najera Mejia, Daisy Reyes Mejia, Aryanna Reyes Mejia and Mariana Reyes Mejia.

Heriberto was so proud of his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and watching them grow into young adults. He loved spending time with all of his family. Each brought him a lot of happiness and joy. He will miss seeing his great-grandson, Angel Ramos Reyes, grow. Heriberto's legacy and memory will live on through his family. He will never be forgotten and they will share his love of laughter.

Heriberto was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca Gutierrez, and his father, Lorenzo Mejia.

A visitation for Heriberto will be held Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with Mariachi's playing until 5pm.
