Ly Khanh Hong, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 82. He died peacefully at home on a beautiful spring morning, surrounded by his loved ones, after a long battle against Parkinson’s Disease.
He lived a rich and meaningful life. He had been at times: a scholar, soldier, teacher, refugee, gas station attendant, handyman, chemist, researcher, youth leader, freedom activist, writer, and literary publisher.
He will be most remembered for his boundless love and his unflagging courage in the face of obstacles. What he had left unfinished in his lifetime, he hoped will be continued by those who follow in his footsteps.
