Irma Patiño Escobedo was born on October 21, 1931, to Arnulfo and Maria Antonia Patiño. Besides being a daughter, a sister, a friend, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother, she was absolutely an amazing woman. Irma was strong, bright, independent, and loving. She was kind and pious, always extending her hospitality to anyone in need. She was also a protector of her family, an inspiration, and a true matriarch. We will always remember her for all of these qualities and so many more—far too many to ever list.
Irma leaves behind her four surviving children, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to join her husband, children who passed before her, and family in the heavens.
The impressive footprint she has left behind has impacted us deeply and will continue to guide us as we carry on her legacy.
