Jack was well-loved by all who knew him. His heart and sense of humor was an inspiration to all who spent time around him. Phil and I are so fortunate to have shared many wonderful memories with Jack. We especially enjoyed receiving his Christmas cards each year, Jack’s was always the first we received. Jack thank you for all that you did for Phil and his career- we are forever grateful. Rest In Peace ❤️

Jack and I became friends when he was my delivery person for Alum Rock Cheese Co. and I was working at my family’s pizza business. When I decided to move on, Jack offered me a job at Ledyard as a salesperson. That was 30 years ago this past January. Jack was my sales manager for 25 of my 30 years in the business. He always had a tremendous amount of wisdom in all of those years. He also had a great deal of patience, knowledge of the Foodservice business and honesty & integrity. He was also a great friend for all of those years. Above all else, he was a very loving and caring husband and father, and grandfather. There was never any doubt or wavering when it came to his family. I will truly miss Jack. Though he never wanted of any attention or accolades, he was always deserving of many. The world lost a great man in Jack Davis.
The biggest part of Jack died when he lost Marvel, and life for him just didn’t seem like it was worth living any more once she was gone. I truly wish and hope that he and Marvel are together again, in each other’s arms for the rest of eternity, the way that it’s supposed to be.
Rest In Peace my friend.

My deepest sympathies to your family on the passing of Jack. Jack was much beloved by me and scores of others within his BiRite family. And yet as much as we will miss him, we are heartened in the knowledge that he is now back home with his true love, Marvel whom he has been missing terribly since she preceded him to heaven. It brings a smile to my face just thinking of them together again.
I called him "Jackie" as a term of endearment and he never once winced. He was a big cuddly bear and I will always be grateful to him for his friendship and professional guidance over these last 20 years.
Rest in Peace Jack.
