He is survived by his wife, Hilda (Durán) Esquivel, his sister, Berta, and his nephew, Edward Knight, along with other nephews and nieces.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Vigil/Rosary for James on Monday, April 21, 2025 beginning at 7:00 PM at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow St, San Jose, CA 95125.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 starting at 12:30 PM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, located at 88 Race St.,San Jose, CA 95126. The interment blessings will occur at 2:00 PM at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, 490 Lincoln St., Santa Clara, CA 95050 with Army Honors being rendered.
