Jeannie Clair Carbone, 90, passed away peacefully at home in Almaden on Jan. 23. She was born in Utah on Feb. 13, 1921 and raised in Modesto. She was a successful interior designer and homemaker.
She is survived by husband Frank Carbone, sons John Bybee, Larry Bybee, daughter Jeanne Carbone, sister-in-laws Mary Delmonico, Francis Soroka, brother-in-laws Joe Carbone and Gerry Soroka, four grandchildren; Christine Bybee, Janine Seaton, Theresa Serface, John Bybee, son-in-law James Serface, great-grandchildren James Serface, Logan Thomas Serface and John Bybee and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Willow Glen Funeral Home, 1039 Lincoln Ave., San Jose. Services will be held Friday, Jan. 27, 11:30 a.m. at the same location. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos Almaden Road, San Jose.
