Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, CA on Thursday May 9th 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Rosary is at 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. Church services will be held at Most Holy Trinity in San Jose, CA on Friday, May 10th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow after services at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, CA

Jesse was born in Crystal City, TX on December 23, 1940. He married Maria Elena Ruiz Figueroa on February 24, 1963 in Texas and was married for 56 years. Jesse and his family have lived in the bay area for 54 years.

Jesse worked as a Maintenance Man for the Santa Clara County Housing Authority for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, camping and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed joking around, dancing the night away with his wife, singing, history, playing the guitar and harmonica, and watching western and war movies. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, father-in-law and grandfather. His family paid this tribute to him, ‘Jesse was a loving person, he touched the hearts of many people with his kind soul and one liner jokes, He brought laughter and unconditional love to our lives and we will truly miss him, but he will never be forgotten.’

Jesse is survived by his wife Maria Elena Ruiz Figueroa, children Maria Elda Porras, Jesse M. Figueroa, Jose Luis Figueroa, Sandra Figueroa Ayala. Brothers Gregorio Figueroa, Guadalupe Figueroa, Sisters Oralia Salas and Carmen Cardenas. He has six grandchildren, Deanna Figueroa, Andres Porras, Jesse A. Figueroa, Mariah Porras, Tayler Figueroa and Shelby Figueroa and other family members.
