Joel Satoshi Takemoto passed away from Lymphoma complications while surrounded by his loving family on August 17, 2011. He was born in San Jose, CA on March 5, 1957 to the late Tsugio Takemoto and the late Mitsuye Takemoto.
Survived by his loving family, wife, Sally, sons, Jeffrey and Eric, brother, Cliff (Thuy), sister, Joan Comer (Wayland) and brother Curtis (Erica). Two nieces, Katie Nyulassy and Lauren Inouye, and one nephew, Justin Fowler. Father and Mother In-law Ben and Kaye Masatani.
Very special thanks and appreciation to the MSICU and Oncology staffs at Good Samaritan Hospital for their caring and support of Joel and our family.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service to be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin, 640 North Fifth Street, San Jose.
