Born in Union City, New Jersey. One of the greatest generation a WWII USAF supply sergeant from 1942-1946. Predeceased by his parents Richard Edward Malone and Mary Catherine McNulty and his brothers Edward and Michael. John retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 40 years. He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 879 4th degree. For years he was an usher at St. Leo the Great Church. John was the epitome of an Irish American 2nd generation patriotic, Catholic, fun loving, hard working and caring for others.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 2:00PM-8:00PM with a vigil service at 6:00PM at Willow Glen Funeral Home. The Funeral will be on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Leo the Great Church in San Jose. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Leo the Great School.
