Kyle I just found about John's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I met John at the gym and we became gym buddies, usually talking while on the treadmill or lifting weights.
John was always so kind and spoke so highly of you and your family. I loved to hear his stories about the vacations you shared to Disney land and other places.
He spoke fondly of Grandma and her cooking too.
He also helped me a lot with any computer question I had, making several trips to our house to help. He even took m y laptop  apart and put it back together , working like a surgeon with his special tools.
He as a good man and again, I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

I've only known John for the few years that I have worked with him at Tegile Systems, but he was definitely one of my favorite people here. He was always glad to see me, always made time to say Hi, and was one of the most authentic people I have ever met. I'm praying for the family to get through this tough time and be able to celebrate what a great person he was.

My Friend John,
Ironically I first met John's wife, Kyle, as a co-worker, and I thought this John fellow must be a pretty good guy to catch such a sharp and vibrant lady.  A short while later at a different company I met John, just being himself, doing what I am certain a great many people know John by - helping someone.

As time went by, John and I became better friends, shared interests, and kept in touch, catching up over coffee, or the occasional Canadian rye whiskey.  We shared a common interest in motorcycling, getting together for the occasional 'spirited' ride in the Santa Cruz mountains, and race track. Hell, we even managed to find our way out to Northern California, roping our wives into the ride with us.  Our fun on motorcycles seemed to be punctuated by the occasional mishap or speeding ticket, nothing serious, but seemingly adding to the adventure, though it didn't always seem that way at the time.  John was always busy either helping folks, or pursuing one of his hobbies.  Motorcycles changed to cars, the means didn't seem to matter much, I think John just enjoyed the pursuit of evolution and the challenge of performance and precision.  Just a week before John passed, John shared what seemed to be his next evolution of vehicles.  I could see the twinkle in his eye and was certain it was just a matter of time till John conquered his next challenge.

Like many others, I will miss John's friendship, patience in listening to my latest misadventure, and word of good advice he decided to share.  My condolences to the friends and family John leaves behind.  Take heart, know his memory lives on in all of us.  Know John would simply want us to find joy where we can, help when we can, and pursue what life has to offer while we can.

John was a true gentleman, a great friend and a coworker, outstanding professional and a great mentor. I requested him to teach me few tricks of our business, as a kind person, John, stayed back late in office and ensured that my queries were answered. I don’t have words to describe him, he was a man with a ‘Golden Heart’. I’ll miss him.

John was a great man!  I only knew John for the last couple years that he worked for Tegile Support.  I interviewed him for the Senior TSE position when he moved from Engineering to Support and immediately realized his qualities as a kind human being.  He was an excellent Engineer who cared for his customers and Tegile family.  He loved his family and his country like no other man I know and he sacrificed himself for the good of all.  I will miss John with all my heart.  I pray for his family and friends as they go through this very sad time.



John, the quietest guy you'd ever know, yet his kindness and selfless actions were louder than any voice ever heard.  John is truly a gem, a friend, and one of the best colleagues you could have beside you, even literally as a former office cube neighbor.  The casual 5 minute talks with John on the way to a coffee refill or the online chat or phone conversations always turned into at least a great 30 minute discussion. John will be sorely missed and hearts ache at his passing, but knowing him was a gift, and he left us with wanting to be more like him, always your best self.  I will miss you buddy!

John was a complete gentleman and a great professional. His smiling interactions with and us and the customers are worth emulating. I interacted with him often and his attention for details was amazing. It is hard to believe that is he no longer with us. May he rest in peace. Condolences to the family. 

John was truly an outstanding professional and wonderful colleague. He always enjoyed training sessions and participated with such great enthusiasm. I've been on customer calls where he has skillfully steered the conversation and exceeded customer expectations. John always believed in giving his best at all times.  Mere words can't express my sadness.

Very sorry to hear the news. I knew John to be a colleague who was always willing to go above and beyond to take care of business and take care of his colleagues and team mates. John and his can do and will do attitude and positive support for those that worked with him will be warmly remembered and truly missed.

My deepest sympathy for your loss; John inspired all of us to better ourselves.  He was a constant mentor, calm, and if he knew you truly wanted to learn, the most patient teacher on earth.  His sense of humor was often subtle, causing one to walk away and not "get it" until suddenly, the joke would be understood and the laughter would burst from both him and myself.  One of the most dedicated and loyal team members we have ever known, John's dependability and commitment were bar none.  He will be so missed; his talent, skill, expertise, for sure, but his heart and soul most of all.  Thank you for sharing him with us these past years.  We are better people for knowing him.

As a friend and a coworker you couldn't ask for a better man. He was always willing to go the extra mile for me. And that is a literal statement, he went to Alaska, Virginia, New York,  pretty much where ever I needed him to handle a Federal customer or complex issue. His quiet nature and wit will be truly missed. He was a true professional in every sense of the word.  God Speed Johnny!
