Born on February 12, 1944, Josephine was born and raised in San Jose, California, where she built a life filled with family, friendships, love, and countless memories.
Josephine was a fiercely independent woman who lived life with open arms, love and kindness. She was strong, resilient, and devoted to the people she loved. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and she treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Her love, strength, and presence touched the lives of so many.
Josephine is survived by her children, Juan “Johnny” (Lori), Marisol, Hector (Janna), Mili (Justin), and Cathy; her grandchildren, Elena (Rich), Seryna, Dominic, Sidney, Nevaeh, Emilia, Sophia, Manuel, Steven, and Bryan; her beloved sister, Tomasa Ortiz; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, the list is endless.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and family that will continue through the generations. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we will carry her memory with us every day, in the stories we share, the lessons she taught us, and the love she gave so freely.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Rest peacefully, Mom. We love you and will miss you more than words can say.
