John “Johnny” Perez, 67, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at his home in San Jose, California, surrounded by his loving family. John was born April 2, 1950 to Roberto (deceased) and Juana Perez in New Taiton, Texas, the fourth oldest of 16 brothers and sisters.
John is survived by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Virginia Perez, Elizabeth De La Cerda and Amelia (Melissa) Perez; grandsons, AJ and Jimmy De La Cerda; his doggies, Juleo and Rocky.
John was a loving husband, father, and proud grandfather. He was very active in his grandsons lives. From coaching little league, to attending all their school functions. His grandsons were his pride and joy. He loved gathering with family and friends and making everyone laugh. He will be truly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of the Oaks. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for all family and friends. Reception immediately following in the Banquet Hall.
