Juana Ochoa Plancarte

Juana Ochoa Plancarte passed away in San Jose, California, on March 12, 2026, at the age of 67. Juana was born on June 7, 1958, in Apatzingan, Michoacán Mexico to parents Guadalupe & Maura (Plancarte) Ochoa.

Juana loved music, flowers and cooking for her family. Her enchiladas were always a big hit. She was unforgivingly sassy, loved to drive fast, was happiest when she was complaining about something, was proud to be loud, was considered picky and hated the color yellow.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Vicente Mendoza, and her loving children; Maria Gabriela Mendoza Ochoa (Jose Jesus Padilla) and son Teodoro Mendoza (Cristina). Juana was an adored abuela of twelve; Alex Mendoza (Julissa), Sonny Mendoza, Allani Mendoza, Vincent Mendoza and Jovanna Mendoza, Jennifer Padilla, Brianna Padilla, Jesse Padilla, Joe Padilla, Jacob Padilla and Jovanny Padilla. Her siblings Maria, Juan and Frank will hold her memories close to their heart.

She is reunited in Heaven with her son Alonso Ismael Mendoza (2020) granddaughter Lizzett Mendoza (1999), brothers Octavio and Armando and her parents.

A visitation will be held at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 31, from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm in the chapel officiated by Padre Hugo Rojas and burial to follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park at 2:30 PM.
