Keith & Bryan Michael Lang

Mike was born in Casper, Wyoming on May 18, 1953 to Warren Harvey Lang, and Jean Elaine Lang. Mike is survived by his loving Wife Diane of 39 years, Daughter April J. Rafferty (James), Son Daniel Lang (Jessica), Son David Lang, Quinton Terra (Evelyn), Mother Jean Lang, Brothers Larry Lang, Jerry Lang, Sisters Pam Lang and Eva Dinneen (Steve), and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Mike was preceded in death by his Father Warren Harvey Lang, Son Jonathon Michael Lang, and Brother Warren “Butch” Gene Lang. Mike was a loving Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to all.

Mike loved carpentry and worked as a licensed contractor for 38+ years running his very successful business (Lang’s Mobile Home Service) up until the day he passed. Mike was always there to help family and friends with carpentry projects or whatever else they needed from him. He was a sports fan and diehard 49’ers fan and along with his family shared some of their fondest memories with each other fishing out in the bay and fishing on the river. To just say Mike was a “Hard working family man” doesn’t do him justice. He was the hardest working man you’ve ever been around and most Loyal and Loving family man you could ever ask for. Mike grew up in Manteca, CA and graduated from East Union High school in 1971, married his high school sweetheart Diane in 1975 and they had 5 children together. Mike loved his children more than life itself and among his proudest moments in his life was walking his daughter down the aisle in recent years. Mike was proudly looking forward to witnessing the marriage of his Son Daniel in the coming months. Mike was extremely proud of David’s accomplishments working as a large equipment operator.

Mike will be sorely missed but his family takes solace in knowing he’s in heaven with his two sons, father, and brother looking down upon us.

Visitation will be from 9:00am until 9:00pm at Oak Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday Oct 1. Funeral Services for Mike will be at Oak Hill Funeral Home at the Chapel of the Oaks at 11:00am. Mike will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery upon the conclusion of the Memorial Service.
