Kevin Mark Misawa

He had a smile that could light up a room and a huge personality. He was a proud member of Pi Alpha Phi fraternity while attending the University of Arizona. At Pioneer High School he was famous for his customized GMC Sonoma truck with air bags.

Kevin earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do at the age of 13. He loved sports and was an avid Sharks, Giants, and 49ers fan. He loved all things Japanese; especially the food and the culture.

Kevin is the beloved son of Wendell and Elaine Misawa and the brother of Mike Sullivan (Jennifer) and Robbie Misawa. He was a loving uncle to Madison and Jackson Sullivan, adored grandson of Yuriko Misawa and Claire Hiler, nephew of Steve Misawa and Steve Burgio, and cousin to Tawni Burgio. He is also survived by many friends and his faithful dog Kawai. He is predeceased by his beloved grandfathers Naoki Misawa and Tony Burgio.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial mass at Holy Spirit Church 1200 Redmond Ave. San Jose on Sat. Feb 21 at 2:00.
