With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of Kristine Lavarias Baldon, who left us far too soon at the age of 47. She fought bravely, beating ovarian cancer once, and when it returned, she faced it with quiet strength and unshakable hope. She gave it everything she had, but her body grew tired—even though her spirit never did.
Kristine was a rare kind of soul—gentle, giving, and full of love. She was a devoted daughter to Joe and Gloria, and a protective, loving big sister to Grace,Doyle& Kristel and a loving wife to Romeo “jun” and like a second mother to Ivan. The best godmother to her only nephew Sean Jerico and an outstanding sister in law to Lyndon. She always put others before herself, never asking for much, but always giving—whether it was her time, her love, or whatever little she had.
She had a way of making people feel special, especially on their birthdays. She remembered the little things that made you feel seen. Even in hard times, she never let anyone feel alone. Her heart was wide open—for her family, her friends, and anyone lucky enough to know her.
Kristine believed in true love. She believed in kindness, in goodness, in happy endings. She found comfort in her favorite Korean dramas and in being surrounded by the people she loved. She didn’t need big things to be happy—just love, connection, and moments that mattered.
We miss her more than words can ever say. The world feels quieter without her, but we carry her with us—in our memories, in the way we love, in the way we take care of each other, just like she did.
Rest peacefully now, Kristine. You’re finally free from pain. We love you deeply, and we always will.
