LE Van Thong, aged 80, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in San Jose, California. Thong was born in Vietnam to parents LE Van Giap and Nguyen Thi Quyen. He immigrated to the United States and worked as a maintenance man in a retirement home.
He is survived by his wife Dao Ngoc Tuy, his sons LE Thong Minh Hai and LE Thong Minh Phuong. He was a proud grandfather to three boys Hai, Thien and Anh.
A visitation is being held for him at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel located at 710 Willow Street, San Jose, CA 95125 on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 9:00AM - 1:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The burial services will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125 starting at 2:30PM in Section " Addition to A." A ceremony will follow at Duc Vien Temple, 2420 McLaughlin Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125, following the burial at 3:00PM.
