

Leni Pabelico De Leon was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Leni will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
Leni was born on October 12, 1976 at St. Lukes Hospital in Quezon City, Philippines. She was the daughter of Antonio and Lina Pabelico. Leni grew up in Salinas and San Jose, CA.
A typical teenager, Leni had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. In high school, Leni was a member of the dance club at Independence High School. She graduated from Independence High School in 1994. In addition to graduating high school, she will be remembered being Independent.
Leni enjoyed her college years and earned an AA Degree in Pharmacy Tech at Sawyer College with a 4.0 GPA.
Always considered a “good” friend to those she knew, Leni enjoyed a broad group of acquaintances and several very close friends during her lifetime. While growing up, some of her best friends were Georgette and Charlene Cayabyab.
On February 23, 1996 Leni exchanged wedding vows with Dante M. De Leon at Most Holy Trinity Church of San Jose, CA. Empathic and loyal, Leni was committed to making her new family happy.
Leni worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Leni was blessed with two, one daughter, Lizelle and one son, Deven-Ryan.
Fortunately, Leni enjoyed what she did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Leni worked diligently and did her best to succeed in her career. Her primary occupation was pharmacy tech. She was employed for eleven years. Leni always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Leni enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Her favorite pursuits were hula and Tahitian dancing.
Leni found pleasure in sports. Leni was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed following her favorite events whenever she had the chance to do so. Tops on her list were basketball, football, Olympics: gymnastics and figure skating.
Leni enjoyed traveling and time away on vacations. It was a chance for her to renew and relax, to visit new places and experience new things. Favorite vacations included Hawaii, Catalina Island, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, Las Vegas, and L. A.
Leni was a lover of animals and cherished her pets. One of her favorites was white German Shepard named Nalu. They were best friends for six years.
Leni passed away from subarachnoid hemorrhage on February 24, 2016 at UCSF. She is survived by her children Lizelle and Deven-Ryan. Services were held at Chapel of the Oaks at Oak Hill Funeral Home. Leni was laid to rest in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Simply stated, Leni was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Leni leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Leni Pabelico De Leon.
