I have lots of Great Collections of Memories with my Uncle Leoning. But the most unforgetable moment for me was...during his last days at the hospital bed, he showed to me how he cares. I'm so honored and proud that he asked for me to come and visit him at the hospital, I rushed in to see him right after I have received the message from my cousin, Febe. During my visit I was telling them, later in the evening I am attending the Awards Night for my Artwork and hoping to get some, He wants to see what I painted from my phone, he saw it and he's proud of it and gave it a thumbs up!

At the awards night, surprisingly my artwork receives 4 total awards, "Honorable and Best Choices" later also I found out my Uncle Leoning receives a total of 4 major surgeries! I would like to Dedicate to him all 4 awards I have received to him, He deserves more to have the ribbons as a Warrior! I can never forget his Love, Care, Calmness and Blessings!

I idolized his simplicity.

I'm gonna miss you a lot uncle, please continue to bless us all... may you rest in peace!

My parents used to bring me to Grandpa Leonings and Grandma Melly’s house when I was a baby—toddler. I have many funny and scary memories with them. Auntie Febe, Auntie Viv and Auntie Lea always played with me and cared for me. They did trick me a lot about their house being haunted and threw cats at me (because I was scared of cats), I also burnt my hand on the stove 😂 It’s all pretty hilarious.

The night I burnt my hand on the stove. I sat between Gpa and Gma Melly on their bed and I remember Grandpa Leoning hugging me all night that night, just to comfort me as he explained to me that he will heal my burns through leaves and aloe. He then wrapped my hands and hummed me to sleep. He taught me about vegetables and fruits he had from his garden...which is what I remember to this day. I’ll always remember his ways of comfort, his red caravan and his night of comfort when he healed my hands. I will never forget Grandpa Leoning...his kindness got me realizing that I never even heard him yell—not even once.

Loved when Uncle made paper lanterns and I would bring to school for the Chrustnas holidays.
After his second daughter born Uncle took ny mother, Febe and I to visit at hospital. On way home Febe said 'Pench Piie'I ask Uncle what she said.He said French Fry She sees McDonald's. I could only see golden arch sign from her vantage point Uncle stops and has me order hamburgers and french fries. When I returned to car and gave money he realized he was short changed. My mother went inside restaurant and inquired about money owed.Told to come back at closing tine to count register Uncle drove us home.Later my mother drove back to McDonald's. Sure enough there was change for Uncle. We drove to his home and gave change. During entire time Uncle was calm.My mother admonished me.
May he rest in peace
