Lilia R. Casey

Lilia R. Casey, aged 80, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 in San Jose, California. Lilia was born in Philippines, the third child of eight born to parents Martina Ubungin Agsaulio and Victoriano Laurel Romano.

Lilia was a loving wife to the Late Raul Bacarro, a loving and patient mother to children Roy, Ronald, Raquel and Rodolfo Bacarro. She was blessed to be a grandmother to ten amazing grandchildren; Roy Bacarro Jr., Chariza Bacarro, John Bacarro, Rachel Acosta, Ron Bacarro, Twin Rafael Bacarro, Twin the Late Victor Bacarro, Jeka Bacarro, Leslie Bacarro and Maria Bacarro. Lilia was delighted to be a great-grandmother to Thalia Brigh Acosta and a dear niece to Justino Agsaulio. She will be sorely missed by her sisters Norma Romano, Ester Conde and Imelda Benipayo.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Victor Bacarro, husband Raul Bacarro, brothers Victoriano Romano Jr., Cesar Romano, Manuel Romano and Mario Romano, and her parents Martina Ubungin Agsaulio and Victoriano Laurel Romano. What a joy it will be for her to be reunited in Heaven when she arrives and they are there waiting to welcome her home.

Her legacy will continue on through her joyful spirit, her smile and laughter, her wisdom and examples of love she has left within our hearts and minds.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation being held at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, located at 710 Willow Street, San Jose, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 17th, visitation is open from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM with Father Michael Basigan officiating. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2040 Nassau Drive, San Jose, at 11:30 AM. Graveside service will follow at 1:30PM at Oak Hill Memorial Park 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, at the Garden of Memories.
