Loodia Mikhaeil was born 24th May 1934 in Sulduz, Iran and passed away on Saturday 28 November 2015 in San Jose, California, aged 81. In her final hours she was surrounded and comforted by family. Loodia was much loved by her family. Sister in Law’s; Jenia and Shamiram. Nieces
and nephews; Donald, Mariana, Peter, Roussana, Denis, Monica, Polina, Veronica, Vernon and Bianca. Loodia was the second child of four and moved from Abadan Iran to the United States early in 1973. Whilst her sister and brothers moved to Australia, Loodia chose to settle in San
Francisco which became her home, her life and her one true love. We all knew and loved her infectious laugh, her big smile, her warmth, friendliness and loving generous heart. Her favourite thing I would say was “shopping” and her hangout was Neiman Marcus where her love for shoes came to life, we also can’t forget to mention her love of everything Betty Boop! Her favourite moments in life were those she spent with her family. Her love for her
nieces and nephews surpassed anything else. She opened her home to all of us and was always disappointed if San Francisco was not included in our travels. Our time with her would be remembered with her cooking our favourite Assyrian dishes, asking us what we bought from Macy’s that day and of course helping us pack “efficiently” all the stuff we bought back in our suitcases to take back home…..always roll your clothes she would say you can pack more! Our beloved Loodia, who adored her sister Victoria and brothers Albert and Yousef, has now left us to be with them once again
We will miss you deeply Love you Aunty Loodia
