Lorenza Montalvo

Born on February 27, 1951, in Texas, Lori was the cherished eldest of seven children to Ramon and Maria Chavez. On November 25, 1967, she married Guadalupe R. Montalvo in Bakersfield, CA. Together, they built a beautiful life and lovingly raised their five children—sons Guadalupe Jr. and Ricardo, and daughters Veronica, Julissa, and Virginia—while residing in San Jose for 56 years.

Lori was a formidable woman known for her immense strength, fierce protectiveness, and boundless love. Her faith and family were her absolute priorities. When it came to her loved ones, her unwavering resolve and loyalty were legendary; you never wanted to cross her.

Deeply rooted in her church community, Lori's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her every step. She was an active and devoted member, attending church daily and consistently contributing. Lori and her husband were also incredibly generous, always opening their home to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, a grandchild, and her parents. Lori's legacy of love and faith lives on through her five children, eleven grandchildren, six siblings, and cherished extended family. Her sons and daughters loved her deeply, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Profundamente arraigada en su comunidad eclesial, la fe de Lori fue la piedra angular de su vida, guiando cada uno de sus pasos. Fue una miembro activa y devota, asistiendo a la iglesia diariamente y contribuyendo constantemente. Lori y su esposo también fueron increíblemente generosos, siempre abriendo su hogar a cualquiera que lo necesitara.
