Loreto R. Eugenio, 94, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. He was a resident of Folsom, CA.
Loreto was born on April 19, 1932, in Alabaan, Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was the son of Leoncio Eugenio and Nicolasa Raspado. Loreto received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geodetic Engineering from the University of the Philippines and later worked as the Presidential Staff Officer in the Malacañang Assistance Center, Office of the President. Loreto moved to the United States in 1983 where he worked as an engineer for the Santa Clara County Department of Transportation, Road and Airports Division, until his retirement in 2008. He was a devout member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo and enjoyed growing his vegetable and orchid garden. Loreto is survived by his 7 children and 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, US, on November 13, 2026, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and again on November 14, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm.
A Dove Release will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125, on November 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:05 pm, followed by a Committal Service at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, US, on November 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
