

Lorraine Elizabeth Di Paolo passed away peacefully in her Willow Glen home surrounded by her loved ones on June 21, 2017. Loving wife for 43 years of the late Louis J. Di Paolo and devoted daughter of the late John and Lena Cresia. She is survived by her children, Robert Di Paolo (Mercy) and Linda Antonopoulos (Nick), and grandchildren Jaclyn, Michael and Nikki Antonopoulos. She was from a large Italian family—one of 4 sisters, Donna Rose Trumpp, the late Ann DiSalvo (Joe), and the late Betty Easton (Raymond). In true Italian form, she was beloved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Lorraine was born in San Jose on August 20, 1923. She lived in Willow Glen most of her life. Lorraine and her husband Louis moved to Colorado Springs, CO for a few years and then moved to Carmichael, CA in 1977. She returned to Willow Glen in 2002 and has lived there ever since. Lorraine lived a storied life full of laughter and lots of love. Lorraine was always the life of the party. She easily attracted people with her infectious personality and open heart. She loved to travel, play and watch tennis, master crossword puzzles, and most of all, Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her family.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service at 7pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at St. Christopher Catholic Church (2278 Booksin Ave., San Jose, CA 95125). Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at St. Christopher Catholic Church. A party to celebrate her life will be held following the services. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Presentation High School (2281 Plummer Ave., San Jose 95125) or St. Christopher Church.
