Born in Utah, Louise moved to San Jose in her late teens taking a job as a waitress. It was while working that she met and later married a sailor stationed at Moffett Field and the rest was history. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. When not raising and caring for her children and grandchildren she enjoyed dancing, bowling, slots and pai gow poker in Reno, watching soaps, knitting and crossword puzzles. Louise is preceded by her parents Josephine and William, siblings Joe, Mary, Duke and Lou. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 73 years Steve, her son Steve (Diane) Windisch, daughter Shelly (Will) Battaglia, daughter-in-law Anne Windisch, grandchildren Michelle (Justin) Hughes, Jessica (Nick) Dando, Will Battaglia Jr. and Nikky Battaglia, great grandchildren James, Brady, Hudson, Emmett, Maverick and many nephews and nieces. We will miss her sassy spunky spirit, loving touch, caring encouraging ways and her unwavering loyalty. Forever in our hearts. Until we meet again.
