I am so sad that Lydia has left this world. She was one of the kindest, funniest, and smartest people I ever knew. I enjoyed lunch with her at BD because she always had something intelligent or witty to say. She showed her kindness and compassion to me at one of the lowest points in my life. When I was recovering from cancer surgery at the same time that my mother was dying of cancer, she reached out to me and let me know that she cared. She lifted my spirits by talking of happy things or funny things. I told her how much that meant to me, and that I will never forget what she did for me. I will never forget beautiful Lydia.
