Lynn Diana Burns (maiden name Lynn Diana Feliciano) passed away after losing her battle to coronary heart & kidney disease on April 13, 2022. Born January 1, 1954 in San Francisco, California, she was survived by her husband Frank George Burns Jr, her two sons Sean Hansen and Brian Hansen, her stepchildren Frank "Frankie" Burns III, Senida Burns (& Kathy Burns who passed away before her) and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also survived by her sibling Gary Feliciano. She had three other siblings that passed away before her to include Raymond Feliciano Jr., Randall "Corky" Feliciano and Leah Niacaris.
Lynn graduated from Galileo High School in San Francisco, California in 1972. She could dance to any tune, dress up for any occasion and gamble in any casino. She enjoyed trips to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and Disneyland with family. Her favorite seasons were summer and Christmas, and she loved to listen to Motown & R&B music. She loved Mexican food, backyard barbeque, and early morning weekend breakfasts that her husband would whip up.
After 40 years of marriage, being employed by Cadence Design Systems in San Jose for 18 years, she joined her husband in retirement. Unfortunately, retirement was short lived when Lynn fell gravely ill a few years ago. Back to work she went, this time, battling her disease. She gave it her all and went out swinging like any fighter refusing defeat.
We will always remember Lynn to be energetic, sassy, controversial and sharp witted. Lynn and Frank found wealth in each other and spent every minute together. Lynn was a hard worker and favored other people who worked just as hard and she was known for her beautiful cursive handwriting. The value of hard work has always remained prevalent in our family and is a true testament to her legacy. Lynn will be dearly missed and we will always love her.
Lynn Diana Burns was laid to rest with a private ceremony at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, California.
