Lynn was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 24, 1949 by Norman and Ethel. She was raised in Bloomingdale with brothers Norm, Jac and Bruce. She graduated from Lake Park High School and went on to start a family in the suburbs of Chicago. She always had a love for nursing and went back to school to achieve her dream. She finished in 1989 when she graduated from Harper College and began her career in nursing.
The next chapter took Lynn and family to California for some fun in the sun. Lynn worked and retired from Mills-Pennisula Hospital after spending much time there doing radiation oncology. She found peace at the beach and loved exploring the Bay Area, Paris, painting, the opera, museums, and a great glass of wine.
She was known as Mom, Nannie, Grandma, Gruma, Muga , Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She loved her family dearly and treasured spending time with all of them. Lynn is survived by her three daughters and their families, Dawne and husband Rob, Kim, Alex and fiancé Talon. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she held a very special place for each one in her heart: Jackie for her knowledge and passion, Robbie for his drive and ambition, Sean for his thoughtfulness and love, and Ashlee for her strength and silliness.
The visitation will be held at Oak Park Funeral Home in San Jose on July 24th from 12pm-4pm. Services will be held privately on July 25th due to COVID restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
