I grew up caddy corner to the Panighetti's (we lived on Belvedere Dr). Our families were great friends once upon a time.
"Babe" as we all called her was a wonderful cook, gardener, and most importantly, a loving and special human being. 
When I was a boy (I'm 66 now) Babe would sit me at her kitchen table with paper, crayons, colored pencils,  coloring books,  and in between the 800 things she was doing she would teach me to draw abstract art. I'm a Commissioned Artist for over 35 years now.
She had our family over for many incredible,  and I mean wonderful,  holiday dinners that sure none of us will ever forget.
I am sorry she is gone but I know she is missed by many who love her.
