Born in San Jose, CA, to Judy and Manuel Alves, Manuel grew up and settled in Little Portugal, where he was involved in the Portuguese community and proud of his Azorean roots. In 2010, he met his beautiful wife, Kelsey, whom he married in October 2021. Together, they welcomed their joyful baby girl, Aleia, in November 2022.
He was a motor enthusiast who loved cars, motorcycles, and boats. This passion led him to an esteemed career at Northrop Grumman, where his strong work ethic and expertise shone. Above all, he loved his family and was a proud, devoted husband and father.
Many of his happiest moments in life were spent camping with family and friends, riding with his buddies, visiting his ancestral island of Pico, and raising his daughter.
He will be deeply missed.
